The Captain James Cook exhibit was one of the thematic pavilions of the Exposition, highlighting the important role Captain Cook made in the discovery of Australia for the British Empire.

It featured extensive facsimiles and originals of maps used and made by Captain Cook, as well as portraits of the Captain and a display globe of the world at the time of Australia's discovery.
