The vision for a World Expo '88 Museum at the Nepal Peace Pagoda is simple - a community-run Museum staffed and managed by Association Member volunteers - running in two five-hour shifts per day (including breaks) - 10am to 5pm every day.

Volunteer staff must be Association Members - and, according to donation contributions, are paid $AUD 20.00 per shift worked which will provide for public transportation costs to the Pagoda for the Association volunteer, as well as costs for a tea break and a meal break. Each Association volunteer will be eligible for one work shift per week - allowing for a wide spectrum of community involvement and education of the Association's goals and aims.

The First Level of the Pagoda is to remain as it is today. A place of sanctuary for the tired and interested, where one can sit and rest, and contemplate further exploration of the Pagoda's architectural forms. The Stairwell to the Second Level of the Pagoda is re-instated, accompanied by a half-panel lift from the Pagoda's rear right corner exterior, directly to the second tier of the Pagoda. A sympathetic structure working in harmony with the Pagoda will be required, and allow for one wheel-chair passenger and an accompanying person.

The interior of the Second Level Tier of the Pagoda - which essentially shares the same floor space as the First Level, allows for five distinct elements - in a circular anti-clockwise path

. 'Welcome Introduction' Corner at the stairwell top - where visitors are greeted with life-size images of Expo Oz - the Expo official Mascot - and four of the canary-yellow uniformed official Expo Hosts and Hostesses. A seven-panelled 2-metre high wall panel is adjacent, with photograph image of the Expo's tent sunsails at early evening in the centre background, and a 15-language several paragraph summary introduction to the Expo, in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Nepalese, Arabic, Korean, German, Dutch, Indonesian, Russian, Italian, and, Thai. The images are double-sided to allow for thematic viewing from the front Pagoda Forecourt.

. The World Expositions Library, at the Pagoda's front right corner interior - a generous corner desk and deskchairs, with two internet connected computers allowing access to World Expositions websites, and, desk to ceiling cabinet bookshelves, featuring the most extensive collection of World Expo '88 and World Expositions publications.

. The World Expo '88 Memorabilia Data Towers - by the Pagoda's centre right - where three revolvable wooden cabinet towers - some 1.6 metres in height each - and encased in transparent hardened bubble plastic - hold 10 to 12 custom-made bays per tower side - some 4 sides per tower - highlight the popular culture of the Expo - some 200 of the World Expo '88 official memorabilia - key rings, mugs, magnets, postcards, passports, stickers, ID cards, pins and badges, with Expo Oz mascot resplendent at each tower top. The current First Level World Expo '88 Memorabilia Cabinet content is integrated into the new Data Towers, with the stretched canvas frame double-sided 44" panorama Photograph Exhibition also moving to its new Second Level Northern Bay windows location, also able to be viewed from the Pagoda's northern side Forecourt.

. Scale Model of the World Expo '88 site, with plasma screen TV map backdrop at the centre of the Pagoda adjoining the first level stairwell. The Scale Model is encased in hardened transparent bubble plastic, with a trackball mouse at front, and plasma screen TV map backdrop. Spin the trackball - and a red led light at the Scale Model, and mouse cursor on the plasma screen TV map - highlights your position and Pavilion/Attraction name. Click on the trackball to choose your Pavilion/Attraction to be guided to a summary of the Pavilion/Attraction and official photographs. Based on the Pavilion pages at the Foundation Expo '88 website.

. The World Expo '88 Theatrette and Flags Corner, with seating for 20 persons, where two of the official one-hour commemorative audio-visuals of World Expo '88 - in DVD format and with English-language subtitles - play in a constant loop. Museum Lecturn converts Theatrette into Seminar Forum for Guest Speakers, Special Meetings, and Seminars. The World Expo '88 Donations and Memorabilia Honour Board hangs at adjacent wall. With a several-tiered pedestal formation Flags Corner at the Pagoda's rear left corner - of all the represented National, State/Province, City, Multilateral and Corporate Pavilions at the Expo, featuring at the first tier the flag of the Commonwealth of Australia, the second tier, flags of the Australian States/Territories, and at the third and subsequent tiers, the flags of all the International and Multilateral Pavilions, then Corporate Pavilion Participants.

The Third Level of the Pagoda we reserve for our Association Volunteer Attendants - with wall-to-wall benches and dining/office table, coffee making facilities and spring water.
